Defensive Driving Course

Program Overview

• We offer advanced driver improvement Courses for clients who are required by the court.
• Upon completion, a school letter, completion certificate, and a clock hours login sheet will be provided to the client to show to the court/ attorney or to their insurance company.
• E.g. any non-moving traffic violation, traffic ticket, reckless driving, aggressive driving, and or DUI
• Court Mandated Clock hour
• Individuals over the age of 18 must either have a valid instruction permit or a valid driver’s license.
• All driving lessons that are 30 minutes or 1-hour of practice will be conducted in a school vehicle only.

• Lesson 1: Rules of the Road. (Video), Familiarize vehicle, hand signal, blind spot, POT & LOS
• Lesson 2: Legal stop & safety stop. Approaching curb. Re-enter traffic, left & right turns, LP
• Lesson 3: Backing maneuver, On-street turn left & right, 4-way stop, staggered stop.
• Lesson 4: Uphill & Downhill parking. On-street left & right turn. Lane change
• Lesson 5: Parallel parking maneuver, the Student assessment report

• Lesson 1: Rules of the Road. (Video), Familiarize vehicle, hand signal, blind spot, POT & LOS
• Lesson 2: Legal stop & safety stop. Approaching curb. Re-enter traffic, left & right turns, LP
• Lesson 3: Backing maneuver, on-street turn left & right, 4-way stop, staggered stop.
• Lesson 4: Uphill & Downhill parking. On-street left & right turn.
• Lesson 5: Traffic circle, Parallel parking maneuver, Commentary driving.
• Lesson 6: Freeway drive, judging distance & lane change, inattentional blindness
• Lesson 7: Mountain drive, sharp turns, judging distance & lane change, managing time & space Lesson 8: Downtown, one-way street. Traffic light turn right, traffic light turn left
• Lesson 9: Parking lot angle and perpendicular parking. On-street left & right turn.
• Lesson 10: Student Assessment report.
