All fees must be paid before the test begins. (We accept all major credit cards, cash, and money orders but no personal checks).

The applicant can retake the written/ knowledge test as many times as necessary with no waiting period to pass. However, a fee will be applied each time you take the test.
Scores for the Written/Knowledge will be reported to the Department of Licensing electronically within 24 hours. The written/knowledge test does not guarantee a driver’s license, and the DOL will determine if an applicant meets all licensing requirements. The Department of Licensing reserves the right to retest applicants who complete the test through us, and Retesting is done randomly and at no cost to the applicant.
The DOL intent of this multiple-choice practice test is to simulate the written/ knowledge test. The questions and answers come from the Washington State Driver’s Guidebook, and we recommend reading the Washington State Driver’s guidebook to prepare yourself for the written test best.
1 BAL DRIVING SCHOOL, LLC reserves the right to refuse the service; in that case, you may test at the DOL. If you need a special service, such as testing in a foreign language or requiring special assistance, the DOL requires that you take the test with them.
